CS = Clean Sheet Goalkeeper David Knight signed on a free transfer from Premier League Middlesbrough on transfer deadline day; he was signed as back up to Dutchman Dorus De Vries. Knight had been at Middlesbrough since the age of 10 and was in goal in the 2004 FA Youth Cup win – he has also represented England at U15, U16, U17 & U18 level. Knight has also been an unused substitute numerous times behind Mark Schwarzer at the end of the 2005-06 season in Premiership & UEFA Cup matches. Knight is only 20 years of age and has made 5 league appearances in his career on loan at Darlington & Oldham; hopefully he will provide adequate competition for De Vries. What are your thoughts?
