Name: Joe Allen DOB: 14th March 1990 POB: Narbeth Midfielder Joe Allen is an up and coming promising youngster – he has been at the club since the age of 9, he made his first appearance as a substitute in the 6-3 defeat to Blackpool last season. He has played two games this season – both in the League Cup against Walsall & Reading – where he was named Man of the Match in both. Joe also scored on his Welsh U-21 debut in a 4-3 win against Sweden, considering Allen is only 17 that is a great achievement. He is highly rated at the club as they have secured Allen’s services until the year 2010; Joe looks a very good prospect and is one for the future. What are your thoughts?
