Darryl Duffy is in contention for a surprise comeback against Swindon at the Liberty on Tuesday night although it is more likely he will force his way back into contention against Leyton Orient on Saturday.
Duffy was not expected to be available again until next Tuesday against Wycombe but Swans physio Richie Evans thinks he has a chance of being ready for the all important Swindon game. Speaking on the official site, Roberto Martinez said “The injury has responded really well,
“Our physio, Richie Evans, and the medical team have worked really hard with him.
“It also shows Darryl’s determination and desire to get back out there on the pitch as soon as he can.
“He’ll join in with training tonight (Monday) and we’ll assess him after that to see if you can figure in the squad against Swindon.”
