Reports on the message board state that Ian Craney is likely to return early to Swansea after ripping his hamstring in Accrington’s 3-0 win at Valley Parade against Bradford.
Craney was on just his second start back at Accrington after joining on loan last week and being man of the match in his first game against Bury.
He was carried off after just 10 minutes of Tuesday night’s game and whilst the initial prognosis was one of a short term injury the reports now suggest it could be longer term and that he will return to Swansea, potentially having played the last game of his three month loan spell.
There was a double blow for Accrington as their keeper broke his leg in the same fixture.
