Danny Coles say that Hartlepool have no fears about being the first side to visit the Liberty since the Swans topped the table on Sunday with a comprehensive 4-1 hammering of Bournemouth.
Hartlepool will arrive in Wales for a 3pm kick off on Saturday knowing that they could push the Swans off the league summit with a win. And having already faced away days at Leeds, Forest and previous leaders Orient, Hartlepool feel that they have nothing to fear ahead of the game. They also know that a victory could even propel them ahead of their hosts in the division despite currently being 6 places below the Swans.
“They are classed as one of the big clubs in League One, but the boys have played plenty of the so-called big clubs already this season and held their own,” said Coles, who made his home debut in last Friday’s gutsy 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers. “We will go down there with the same determination to get the three points as we showed against Bristol Rovers and hopefully we can get the same result. “Swansea are beginning to look strong, but we will worry about ourselves. “Once we cross that white line it is all about what we do. “We will show them the respect down there they deserve but we certainly won’t fear them. We have to go there with confidence that we can turn them over.”
