Andy Robinson’s season has been dealt another blow with the news he will miss a further two to three weeks after picking up an injury in last night’s 2-2 draw with Millwall at the New Den.
Robinson was a first half casualty when he landed awkwardly jumping for a ball just past the half hour mark and he was replaced by Kris O’Leary.
“He jumped for a header and when he landed his foot came down awkwardly,” Swans manager Roberto Martinez said.
“Straight away we knew something was wrong with him; he could be out for two to three weeks but we’ll have to assess it once we get back.”
Robinson has only just returned from an injury which kept him sidelined for a month and his absence will mean a likely further run in the team for Tom Butler although Robinson played just behind Jason Scotland yesterday evening until his injury.
