The young midfielder scored against a strong looking La Liga side which included five first team regulars.  The game was played over 60 minutes.

Speaking on the official web site, manager Roberto Martinez said "It was a great exercise and the boys played really well

"There were some great players in the Esanyol side and the boys were a credit to Swansea City.

"The whole trip has been well worth it. It's been a fantastic experience.''
