The club are reporting that more season tickets have been sold in the first day than in the whole of the first week this time last year with reports that many people are signing up for the first time – existing season ticket holders have until June 14.
Of the 550 reported as being sold, 400 are said to be from new season ticket holders which is a huge up on where we were this time last year.
"Our previous record for season-ticket holders was the 8,000 we had last year, but we're expecting that to be broken," a Swans spokesman told the Evening Post.
"The queues started very early and, encouragingly, they were mostly supporters who were not season-ticket holders last year.
"Anyone who was a season-ticket holder has until June 14 to renew that seat, so to have a lot of new buyers is very pleasing."
Adding in Vice Presidents and Premier Club members, the total sold can be expressed as 1,750.
