Rumours Say Gorka Deal Is Done

After Roberto Martinez confirmed the club's interest in today's Evening Post, reports emerging tonight on their forum suggest that the deal is nearing completion with all three parties agreeing terms.

These are, of course, unconfirmed by either club at the moment and a further post on the same message board suggests that Grenada could still ask for more money.

''He is strong, aggressive, he works extremely hard and tactically he is very clever. He leads the line well." Martinez told the Evening Post today

''We're keeping an eye on him but he has another year on his contract at his club and as yet we haven't bid for him.

''We will bring in a striker this summer, but I would say there are another five we are looking at apart from him.''

But if the reports are to be believed this evening then Gorka is the first on that list……..
