New Contract For Liverpool Winger?

And with a track record already at Swansea, the Liberty Stadium side have been installed as favourites to capture his signature again for next season which will please the Swansea faithful reeling from the transfer request this week of Ferrie Bodde.

Anderson has been the subject of much speculation during the close season but the Evening Post reports that despite Forest being ready with a £750,000 bid, Liverpool are prepared to offer their winger a three year contract and give him a chance to prove that he would be worthy of a place in their starting line up.

There has also been interest shown from Watford and Burnley in Anderson whilst reports yesterday suggested that he could be used as a pawn in a deal for Cardiff's Aaron Ramsey – a suggestion laughed at by Liberty Stadium officials.

It was suggested earlier in the close season that Liverpool may have been ready to cash in on the player but today's news in the Evening Post suggests that is no longer the case.

And it is speculated that Rafa Benetiz would rather see the player return for another season at Swansea than spend a year at the City Ground.  The Evening Post suggests that the Swans though believe otherwise and that Forest could be at the head of the queue for the signature because of their locality to his home town of Melton Mowbray.
