Roberto declared earlier today that the Swans were looking to secure signings of three players this week with the names of Albert Serran and Mark Gower high on the list of possible names that could be completing Liberty transfers this week.
And whilst Jenkins was happy to admit that Serran was one of the players he denied that a deal for Gower was nearing conclusion as he kept his cards close to his chest – a trait he has clearly picked up from his manager.
Speaking to BBC Sport, the Swans chairman said We've watched a lot of left-sided players, Serran is one of three or four we're looking to conclude deals for"
It's not true that we've been in talks with Southend,
"Mark is one of a number of wide players that [manager] Roberto Martinez has been considering, but nothing has been concluded."
Details of the new signings are expected to be made before the week is out with further news expected tomorrow on the deal that could see Ferrie Bodde become a Derby player in a record breaking deal. Derby are reported to have pieced together a package worth up to the £2m the Swans wanted as an asking price although nothing official has been heard to date from either club on this front.
And with news expected next week on Paul Anderson, Jenkins added "We expect him to sign a new deal at Liverpool either this week or next week, and any decisions on his future will have to wait until after that."
