With a 10,000 target that looks well in reach as tickets become more freely available on Tuesday once the deadline for existing season ticket holders have passed.

Those people have until 6pm on Monday to renew their existing seats for next season and those that have already renewed are able to collect their tickets from the ticket office.

The announcement on the official site read "Swansea City's long-awaited return to the Championship is building momentum after the club topped the 7,000* season ticket barrier this morning.

Over 1,000 season tickets have been sold since Tuesday as the club moves closer to their initial 10,000 target for the Championship.

The club sold 8,000 season tickets last season, including Premier Club members."

The 7,000 figure also includes these ticket holders.
