The Soca Warriors, who competed in their first World Cup two years ago, won the home-and-home, total-goals series 3-2 after getting upset 2-1 at home last weekend. T&T is ranked 87th in the world while Bermuda is 139th.
Roberts scored in the 10th minute when he turned inside the six-yard box. John added the second goal in the 69th minute, heading in Keon Daniel's cross.
Trinidad and Tobago will be in a semifinal group with the United States, Cuba and Guatemala. The semis start in mid-August.
