Kristian O'Leary has reminded fans that he has a testimonial game coming up at the Liberty Stadium on August 2.
O'Leary – 12 years a Jack – contacted Planet Swans yesterday to remind supporters that the game against West Bromwich Albion – although a strong pre-season test for the Swans – is also his reward for many years loyal service to the club that he has supported since he was a lad.
Tickets for the big game go on sale on Monday and prices etc will be confirmed over the course of the weekend with ticket prices around the £15 mark for adults with around half that for concessions although these are still to be 100% confirmed.
I asked Kris what kind of crowd he was expecting for the game to which he replied he didn't really know but on the basis that we managed 7,000ish for the Levante game last summer I did say that I didn't believe that it would be any less for this fixture?
That is the minimum that anyone at this level getting a testimonial deserves isn't it?
