Allen and Shaun MacDonald will get the chance to lock horns with their local rivals international wise over the two legged play off that takes place in October.
Both Wales and England were group winners in the Under 21 qualifying but they along with other group winners and four best runners up will now compete in a two legged play off to see who makes the finals next summer.
And Allen was this morning hoping for an England draw which was exactly what he got with the home leg a possibility for the Liberty Stadium although dates and venues are yet to be confirmed.
Speaking in today's Evening Post ahead of the draw Allen said "By winning the group it shows that we have been consistent and not lucky
"It shows that we have a lot of good players and I think we are capable of outplaying anyone at the moment.
"Of course, everyone is paying a lot of attention to the draw, but we don't fear anyone.
"England would be a big game as they are our closest rivals, but it's all about getting through the play-offs no matter who we play.
"There is a lot of pressure on us, more so because it has been so long since Wales qualified for a major football tournament.
"But Brian has played it down to a certain extent because he doesn't want to put too much pressure on us. Saying that, we should have a lot of confidence because we beat some very good sides to be in the position we are in."
