Derby County are the visitors to the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday as the Swans look to bounce back from the disappointment of defeat on Saturday.
And in much the same way that they bounced back against Forest after the opening day defeat, Martinez and his squad are keen to get straight back into winning ways on Tuesday knowing that a win could lift them into the top 6 of the table for the first time this season.
Derby for their part have won only one game in the last twelve months and will be looking for their first league success on the road for 18 months.
Speaking to BBC Sport, the Swans boss said "The most disappointing thing against Palace was that we let their goals affect our style of play
"You get punished for sloppy goals at any level, but after them we lost our focus.
"We have seven games in 21 days. That places a huge demand on the players, but they are desperate to get back out there."
After Derby the Swans face Burnley (20th Sep), Cardiff (23rd), Reading (27th), Preston (30th) and Wolves (4th Oct) as the season begins to take shape before the next international break
