The Swans travel to Deepdale and a meeting with Preston on Tuesday night looking to bounce back from the result that saw them beaten by four goals at Reading.
And had it not been for some good saves from the Dutchman the Swans could have been on the end of an even worse hammering – he made at least three crucial saves to keep the score down to four goals.
And he is looking for the Swans to right those wrongs straight away, telling the Western Mail โWe have to take a good look at ourselves in the mirror, we have to play better than that.
โThis game will be a lesson for us. And that lesson is we must show some pride and passion because, without it, you are in big trouble.
โWeโve got to show some guts in games like this. We donโt want to be conceding early goals like that away from home.

โI took the responsibility against Crystal Palace but there was nothing I could do this time.
โItโs annoying because you know itโs not your fault but you have still conceded four goals.
โBut we win and lose as a team. So it was a bad day for everyone.
โWe had the momentum and we wanted to keep it going,
โBut we couldnโt do that and we have to start again.โ
