Martinez has been forved into action following the injury to Dorus De Vries on Tuesday night but he also says that he will happily play Artur Krysiak if that is the option that he leaves himself.
Speaking to the Evening Post, Martinez says “We want to bring in someone who has going to add something to our goalkeeping department
“I don’t just want another name or another number.
“We are a bit limited as to where we can look as it can only be a loan deal, which would normally mean going to the Premier League.
“The other option is someone who is unattached and has good experience.
“Either way, we have to find someone with the right character who will strengthen us while Dorus is out.”
Martinez is refusing to rule out the prospect of playing Krysiak, who signed on loan from Birmingham a month ago, even if he does add a new face.
“Artur has worked really hard and he has impressed Inaki (Bergara) on a daily basis,” added Martinez.
“He is a positive goalkeeper, very secure, and he has been waiting for his chance.”
