It took the Swansea City striker just three minutes to have an impact in the derby game when he volleyed home Shaun MacDonald’s corner just past the hour mark to bring the Swans level.
It was a perfect finish from a striker tipped by many to top the Swans scoring charts this season and recent form suggests that a run in the side is what is needed for the summer signing.
Pintado was unlucky not to add to his tally during the second half as the Swans pressed on for a winner but it was the goal that was his subject of choice after the game
โI wonโt forget this goal,โ he told the Western Mail.
โTo score in such an important game against Cardiff is something I will remember for all my life.
โEvery time I meet a supporter in the street they tell me that playing Cardiff is the most important game. So now I know they are happy that I scored the equaliser.
โIt was a special goal for me. I know it made the Swansea supporters very happy.โ
