Swansea City manager Roberto Martinez has warned his players that Birmingham will pose a significant threat come tomorrow afternoon as the Swans look to break a draw streak that has now spanned seven games.
After their relegation from the premier league last season, Birmingham are odds on favourites to bounce back to the top flight something that Martinez is all to aware of as he told the BBC, he said “It’s hard to talk about Birmingham because without a doubt they are a Premier League side playing Championship football.”
He added , “If we can go there against an ex-Premier League team, against a squad that I think are better than last season in the Premier League, that will be a great positive aspect to keep adding on to our football club.”
Frustration and pressure maybe mounting on the Liberty Stadium club to turn draws into wins but the Spaniard is refusing to see the negative side to the recent string of results, he said “People are talking about the draws but we are undefeated.”
