A Chris Porter brace appeared to have sent the Swans en route to a defeat at Pride Park but second half goals from Angel Rangel and Gorka Pintado earned them an unlikely point but a point that Roberto felt his side were worthy of.
He told the official Swans website after the game "I think we had a mature performance at the end. It was a difficult coming to a Premiership environment at Derby
"I was pleased with that but we didn't start the game well and we got punished, and again in the second-half.
"But the character and personality and never-say-die attitude and bravery to open the game up, I think, made us worthy of a point in the end."
