Dyer has made no secret of his desire to remain at Swansea at the end of his loan spell.
However he says that desire will change should the manager find himself moving on and he told News of the World "I want to stay with Swansea. I've said that since the day I arrived but that would change if Roberto left.
"Whether I stay at Swansea or not depends on the manager being here, definitely. If a Premier League club comes in for him during the summer then I will have to look at my situation again.
"I love working with Roberto. He's the best manager I've played for that's why I would love to stay at Swansea. He's done a brilliant job so obviously he's caught the interest of other clubs.
"The team dominated League One last season and now we're pushing for the play offs in our first season in the Championship.
"He lets me express myself on the pitch and I agree with his football philosophy. If he was to leave then as far as I'm concerned that would completely change things.
You don't know if the next manager will like you. It would be a case of having to start all over again. At the moment Swansea are top of my list but that wouldn't be the case if Roberto wasn't here"
