Bodde hasn’t played for the Swans since last November after suffering serious knee ligament damage, and is yet to make his long awaited return to action.
Megson has been an admirer of the Dutchman for quita a while and had been waiting to hear a response from the Swans regarding their latest offer – believed to be worth around £3.5m.
The news would be a major boost for Paulo Sousa who is desperately on the lookout for new firepower after losing almost 40 goals from the team after Jason Scotland and Jordi Gomez left.
