The Swans missed a number of chances, with substitute Craig Beattie and Nathan Dyer both guilty of spurning opportunities which would have won the game.
“I was very pleased with the performance,” declared Paulo.
“I was happy with the attitude and personality of the players as we played our normal game.
“Technically we are a very good team with goals in the squad.
“When we start scoring I feel that they will start flowing. We have been working a lot in training in the final third and I believe we have the quality to deliver goals.
“It is not an easy place to come.
“Especially when you come up against a team with a new manager.
“They are a difficult team to play against, one with a lot of enthusiasm and I am sure that they will do well under Mark (Robins).”
