Sheffield United are the 5th league opponents for Paulo at the Liberty and he will be looking to add to the three draws he has achieved to date with his first maximum haul from his new home.
The Swans could slip back into the relegation zone with a defeat but Paulo insists that the league table only matters come the final day of the season as he told the Evening Post “I don’t look at the table until the end
“When you start to build something new from the beginning, you need to settle things.
“You need to settle players who want to leave, those who do leave and those who need operations after last season.
“You have to build everything and I know I have time, so I don’t think about the table.
“In the end we will look at it and we will reflect.
“I keep believing in my players and I think we can finish in the first 10.
“I want to be there at the end of the season because being in the first 10 now doesn’t matter.
“They need to have confidence in themselves because they have the talent,” he added.
“When they play with the spirit they have shown in the last couple of games, the talent will shine through and make the difference.
“We have worked on finishing every day,” Sousa said.
“We are trying to help the players. We have worked a lot on our offensive organisation to try to help their confidence.
“They (Sheffield United) have lost some important players but they have also added some,” Sousa said.
“They are very strong and have a great mentality which you can see in their players.
“They fight for every ball and every bit of space and I think they will stay a top-six team.”
