Ledley lines up against Swansea City at the Liberty this weekend looking to get off the mark goal wise this season as well as learning the mistakes of his first taste of derby action.

He was booked very early doors in the clash between the two sides in the Carling Cup last season and has told BBC Sport that it will not happen again

Ledley said “Swansea, being a Cardiff boy, is one of the fixtures you look out for and I hope to get off the mark and score against Swansea

“I’m looking forward to it

“We want to go there, get the points and get out of there

“I got booked early on in the derby but I learned my mistakes – as I went back there last time, scored the goal and didn’t give the ball away once.

“It is a great derby to play in

“We must focus on the game, players must not make silly tackles and don’t get needless bookings.”
