Hamer was a guest of Cardiff director Keith Harris on what he says was the 50th anniversary of the first time he watched the Swans – speaking to the newspaper, Hamer said โThe incident has rather spoiled what should have been a great day for me.
โThe day marked the 50th anniversary of the first time I saw the Swans, playing against Hull City, but this has left a bitter taste in my mouth.
โIโve been to the Liberty when Swansea have played Colchester and Southampton and have not had a problem.
โI have been a lifelong supporter of Swansea City, but if you asked me now whether I want to return again I would have to say I donโt know.โ
Whilst the Swans statement responded A Swansea City statement said: โThere was an initial misunderstanding because Steveโs name was not on the list as a guest of Cardiff City.
โBut Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins sorted everything out and Steve was in the boardroom and the directorsโ box.โ
