Former Swansea City striker Rory Fallon wasted two golden opportunities to score for the visitors as they lost again to remain in the relegation zone of the Championship.
And manager Sturrock pointed to those opportunities missed as a big factor in the game when he said “This is a difficult place to come as Swansea have very good players who can pass the ball. We could have been behind in the first minute,” said Sturrock.
“But we had two great chances for Rory Fallon and we should have scored from at least one of them.
“On goal attempts we were probably on a par with Swansea, but that is now three single-goal defeats in a row for us.
“I seem to say the same things after every game, but we are having a club meeting on Thursday and hopefully we can go forward from there.”
