But the Swans Chairman says there has been no contact with the Scottish club “We have had no offers for anybody and I haven’t spoken to anyone at Celtic about Angel“We haven’t received any calls about Angel and, as we have always made clear, we will not look to do anything unless it is the right time for our club.
“There are many, many calls being made throughout but they do not always have a lot of substance,” Jenkins added.
“If I told you about every call I had, I would be giving you 40 names a day.
“People chance their arm at this time of year — they make a lot of enquiries to see if something might come up.
“But at the present time, nothing is happening with Stephen Dobbie and we have had no offers to take him either permanently or on loan.
“He is fit and looking to win a place in our first team.
“Before people decide on players too quickly, you have to remember that some take longer than others to settle in,” Jenkins said.
“Look at Andrea (Orlandi), for example. He didn’t play many games for a season or so, but he stayed on and has been involved in more or less every game this season.”
