Bodde played an hour for the reserves yesterday, scoring once in a 2-1 win over Bristol City at the Gnoll as he completed the first step to what we hope is a return to first team action this season.

And he was naturally glad to be back in action as he told the official site "I'm really happy with how things went," Bodde told Swans Player.

"I played 59 minutes and it was nice to get back on the pitch.

"I've been training with the guys for the past three weeks and I was really happy to get the amount of time on the pitch as I did.

"I'll have to see how things are looking tomorrow to make sure that everything is normal," he added.

"I've worked hard over the last few months, Swansea have helped me with it, Rob Meppelink has aswell back in Holland, we would train on a daily basis which helped me a lot and I am happy to be at this stage now."
