The Swansea City defender will line up on the opposite side to the man he replaced at the Liberty Stadium when he lines up against Leeds United on Saturday.
Fede Bessone departed the Liberty Stadium during the summer for Elland Road with Taylor his automatic replacement having made his full football league debut for the Swans in the win over Burnley two weeks ago.
And Taylor admits that he is enjoying every moment as he told the Evening Post, "I'm living the dream right now
"Coming to Swansea has been great for me so far. I have settled in at the club really well and in the area.
"The lads have been great with me as well, so I just want to keep things going because I know there is always something round the corner in football.
"There are always ups and downs.
"I'm surprised to have made my way into the team so early because the lads did so well last season," Taylor admits.
"But that's what I wanted when I moved here. I am delighted that the manager has given me a chance and I want to repay him.
"Obviously the standard is a lot, lot better," he adds.
"Look at the first game of the season at Hull — (Jon) Bostock puts it in the top corner from 40 yards.
"That's the biggest difference between where I was and where I am now. You can be playing as well as you want as a team, but there are always players who have that extra bit of quality in the areas that matter.
"The pace of the game is actually slower because the players are better, but the big difference is individual quality.
"I enjoyed getting out there in front of them," he stresses.
"It makes you concentrate harder when you are playing in front of thousands of people, and my only disappointment at Norwich was the way the game ended.
"But I really wanted to make my home debut and I was delighted that we got the win against Burnley.
"We were under the cosh a little bit in the last 10 or 15 minutes, but we managed to stick it out and that's the sign of a good team.
"At Swansea we don't worry about other teams too much. If we play how we can play, we can get results. I think we showed that against Burnley, who most people would say are one of the best sides in the league."
