The Swansea City manager was speaking after two second half goals gave Leeds victory over his side – a victory that he did not think the home side deserved

"I thought we controlled long periods of the game and deserved to go in at the break ahead," said Rodgers afterwards vis the club's official website.

"In fact I thought we should have had a second when Scott Sinclair when through on the keeper.

"But they had an eight-minute spell in the second-half which saw them grab two goals which I thought we could have defended better.

"It's something we've got to learn from because we're not far off picking up points away from home.

"I certainly thought we deserved to come away with something from the game.

"I thought it was a penalty at the time, and after watching the video again it would have been a foul anywhere else on the pitch."
