Swansea City’s top goalscorer was on loan at the DW Stadium last season but was barely used before he returned to Chelsea at the end of the season and was then eventually sold to the Swans in the summer.
10 goals later already and Sinclair is on fire at the Swans and believes that he can show Wigan what they missed out on when the two sides go head to head in the Carling Cup this evening.
Sinclair told the Western Mail: โThe Wigan fans only got to see me for 10 or 15 minutes here and there, and as a player you really need to be playing every week to show what you have got.
โI want to go there and show them what theyโve missed.
โIt would be really good if I could score, but the main thing is to win the game.โ
Sinclair admits he was frustrated during his time at Wigan, but insists he had no problems with Martinez and has backed the Spaniard to prove himself as a Premier League boss.
โI got on well with him, but obviously when you donโt play itโs a bit more difficult,โ added Sinclair.
โHe is a good manager and is trying to do the right things there but it does not always work out straight away.
โBut they should keep faith because he is still a really good manager.โ
