Sinclair Anticipating First Derby Day

Swansea City’s leading goalscorer will be looking to continue his scoring streak on Sunday when the Swans line up against their nearest rivals at the Cardiff City Stadium.

And he is eagerly anticipating the challenge and the atmosphere that goes with it

“I haven’t really got much experience of a derby and this is one of the biggest derbies in this league and it would be nice to play in,” he told BBC Sport.

“When I do eventually play in it, I’ll be able to tell you more about it.

“It’s a big game and everyone keeps telling me it’s a big game but you don’t understand how big it is until you play in it,

“Everyone’s been telling me what it’s about and what it’s going to be like but like I said, you don’t really realise and understand what it’s going to be like until you actually play in it.

“I think the team is getting more confident as each game goes along and picking up three points most weeks will only give the team more confidence

“It’s a shame Prats got his fifth yellow and is suspended for that game, but we’ve got the strength in the squad so hopefully whoever fills it they can do as good a job.

“I’m sure it will be great for the fans to watch and hopefully we can get the three points and then go home.”
