The Swansea City midfielder told the Western Mail “I think it’s fair to say we need one or two players

“I know the manager is looking at a striker to add to what we’ve got and give us something a bit different.

“And that would be great because there are times in games when you need to have something different.

“But one or two fresh bodies will also liven up the boys who are already here.

“The squad we’ve got is good, a real mixture of young and old and the boys are suited to the system we play.

“It’s worked well so far but it’s a long, long season so you are always going to need some additions along the way.

“Getting new faces gives you that fresh impetus you need and it could help us push on for the rest of the season.”
