The Swansea City manager was speaking at the end of the last full week of the transfer window following speculation earlier in the week that West Ham were interested in the midfielder who is out of contract in the summer.
Rodgers though re-iterated his desire to keep Pratley at the Liberty Stadim and told the Western Mail โHe (Grant) rang me and asked the question on Darren, but I was straight to the point with him and said he wasnโt a player I wanted to sell.
โI spoke to Darren and told him, but there was no problem because heโs happy here.
โAnd I think anyone else coming in would be wasting their time because there is a feeling Darren and the players here want to achieve something together.
โHis plan has always been to see out the season and that hasnโt changed. People might think they can get him on the cheap, but they will have to wait until the summer โ if he decides to go.โ
There were also media reports earlier in the week that suggested Pratley was close to agreeing a deal with Bolton Wanderers.
