The Swansea City defender grabbed his 2nd goal of the season in the 3-0 win over Doncaster and he told the Evening Post after the game “The Championship is a tough league and this week sums it up,
“We’re looking at getting maximum points, which we have to do at this stage of the season.
“To get nine points from the three games is a big target, but that’s the pressure we put on ourselves.
“We want to signal our intentions this week. If we get maximum points then it will show the league that we are looking at the automatic spots.
“We want to beat the teams around us, especially at home.
“But the mark of a very good side is doing it on the road too. The gaffer has said we have to go to places and win, not just rely on our home form.
“And if we can win at Coventry, that will keep us on target for our aim.”
And on his goal celebration he added “I don’t know sometimes what I’ll do.
“But I’ve been down the gym quite a bit recently and I joked one morning that I’d get the guns out if I scored.
“After the Middlesbrough game I said I’d get both out for my next goal.
“I think everyone had a bit of a laugh from it, but it was nice to score in consecutive games.
“I don’t know what I’ll do if I score at Coventry tomorrow.”
