The Swansea City striker was taken off against Nottingham Forest on Thursday as a precautionary measure and will return to training on Sunday ahead of the second leg on Monday.
Brendan Rodgers told the official website "Fabio is fine, he's had a scan and there is slight bruising around the hamstring, but it shouldn't be a problem and he'll be back in training on Sunday.
"It's the first real injury he's had. He felt something around his hamstring, but he's had some treatment over the last few days and it has responded well.
"He feels good. He's a very good pro for a young man and takes care of himself well.
"It would have been a big loss if he'd been ruled out, but I thought Luke Moore did really well on Thursday and I have seen him improve every day. We've also got other good players standing by.
"Fabio's been magnificent since he's been here, however, and made a massive impact. All the lads have taken to him.''
