The Swansea City manager was speaking after smashing the Swans transfer record with the £3.5m capture of Graham from Watford.
He told the Evening Post "We are delighted to have Danny on board
"First and foremost he is a goalscorer — the highest goalscorer in our league last season — and he gives us another real threat up front as we go into a league where we need to score goals.
"Technically he is strong — he has two good feet, a great touch and he can finish on either side.
"He can set the game up short or he can run behind and he wants to score goals.
"Tactically he is good as well — I have seen him over the last couple of seasons filling in out wide, as he did when he played down here.
"He is adaptable and hopefully he will fit in with our philosophy very quickly.
"Physically Danny is strong. He has power and he has a turn of speed – when he is away he is away.
"He can also hold the ball up – his body is strong and he had a great capacity in the duel. Mentally he is hungry. He had a dabble in the Premier League when he was young, then he had to go and earn his stripes.
"Now he has come back more mature and he is hungry to succeed,
"The way we play, the central striker has to press and he has to be aggressive. When people watch Danny they will see that he works very hard so he has all the ingredients to do very well in the Premier League."
