Reports circulated that QPR, Norwich and West Brom were all interested in the Swansea City defender with QPR reported to have tabled a bid of £2.6m for him.
But Jenkins told the Western Mail "We haven't had a bid for Ashley Williams… we're not selling Ashley williams
"I think we mustn't forget really that there's a lot of speculation about players like Neil Taylor, Ashley or a few others.
"Agents in this day and age do, rightly or wrongly, get things out in the press, maybe a negotiation tactic to get more wages, bigger contracts – it's just part and parcel isn't it of the Championship and now the Premier League.
"Ashley has been a great signing for us, he's been with us a few years since his Stockport days and he's got the opportunity to play in the Premier League with us.
"I've got no doubts that he's really looking forward to that challenge himself, playing for Swansea City."
