“There was interest from the likes of Newcastle and Fulham, but Swansea were the ones who wanted me the most and I’m delighted to be here.
“I have a few friends over here, such as Adel Taarabt at QPR, and a few youngsters at the likes of Man City, Chelsea and Newcastle.
“They have all told me that Swansea is a friendly club who play the game the right way. I have had a quick look around the city and the stadium which is wonderful.
“I have met the manager (Brendan Rodgers) and I am looking forward to working with him and gaining from his experience.
“I am excited to be here. I will work hard and do the best I can every day on the training field to be on the pitch on the weekends.”
