Neil Taylor says he will be fine for the Swans next league clash at Chelsea after being stretchered off against West Brom on Saturday
The Swans defender was clattered in the latter stages of the game and left the field on a stretcher in a neck brace in what looked to be a very serious injury.
But initial fears were unfounded as Taylor himself explained “I’m okay, I feel a bit groggy, but I’m not too bad
“I didn’t really remember anything at first, but then it all came back to me. I know we won and that’s the main thing.
“I’d have to see the challenge back, but I haven’t really got any complaints. I think the ball was just crossed in, I’ve gone to head it and maybe I’ve just got there first.
“I can’t complain really, he’s gone to attack the ball looking to score. That’s fair enough.”
Taylor suffered a cut head in training on Thursday and he added “It was just a minor graze on Thursday and then a proper one today. Hopefully I’m getting them all out of the way in one week
“We’ve had a run of bad luck, but I’ll be okay, I’ll be fine for Chelsea.”
