Danny Graham has talked up the Swans trip to Anfield this weekend as they search for their first Premier League road victory
Graham will look to inch closer to a club record on Saturday as he looks to build on his four goals in successive games for the Swans.
After drawing a blank in the early weeks of the season, strikes against Stoke, Norwich, Wolves and Bolton have given him four goals and placed him in the higher levels of Premier League scorers this season.
And whilst Anfield may be a daunting challenge to add to that run, Graham acknowledges that this is what everyone wanted to be part ofย “To be going there in the Premier League will be brilliant. We’re going to go there, play our football and see where it takes us,” he said.
“It’s an unbelievable stadium, there’s the history that comes with the team and Kenny Dalglish has done an amazing job for them.
“To play there is going to be great โ we have to embrace that and our football will suit the occasion.
“It’s a big moment to be playing anywhere in the Premier League โ it’s the best league in the world and that’s where everyone wants to be.
“I’ve played at Anfield once when I was at Middlesbrough in the League Cup โ I had a brief cameo,” Graham added.
“Waking up in the morning knowing you’ve got a Premier League game is amazing. We won’t be in awe of what they’ve done in the past. We want to give a good account of ourselves and get three points out of it.”
