Brendan Rodgers was very much viewing the 1-1 draw with QPR as 2 points dropped
Rodgers saidย “I felt it was two points dropped
“We did well to go one-nil up and we had some fantastic spells in the first half and deserved our lead.
“In the second half we didn’t really get going as we would have liked, but it’s a game we should have won and we’ll learn from it going into the second half of the season that they are the games we’ll have to win.
“But in the end it’s a point against a side that have some very talented players.
“It was a clear penalty,” said Brendan. “We worked the space well and Danny’s got in there and Traore has committed the foul.
“I thought in the first half some of our passing and movement was excellent and it was a great finish from Danny.
“Angel was struggling in the second half
“As a result of that we had to restructure the midfield and put Kemy (Agustien) in at right back to keep our attacking impetus on that side.
“But to concede the goal that we did was disappointing from our point of view.”
