Kemy Looking For Midfield Return

Kemy Agustien is hoping for a return to his favoured midfield position when Spurs come to town on Saturday

Agustien was moved to right back during the second half on Tuesday to cover for the injured Angel Rangel but hopes to be back in his normal midfield position at the weekend admitting that right back was not a position that he would prefer to play at,

He told the Evening Postย “I thought I was playing well in midfield so I was frustrated when I was moved to right- back

“I’ve never played there before and I didn’t like it at all.

“But it’s not about me, it’s about the team.

“At the time I didn’t understand the move, but it was explained to me afterwards.

“Hopefully I won’t have to play there against Spurs.

“We’ve got loads of people who can play right or left-back. We’ve got Jazz and Fede Bessone as well.

“If I play, I will do my best,” said Agustien. “Bale is a good player, but they have other good players as well.

“Tottenham were doing quite well in the Europa League and they have quality all over the pitch.

“Every team we play against is tough. But we don’t look at the other teams, we look at ourselves and make sure we get things right.

“We have to make sure at home that we get the three points,” added Agustien.

“We didn’t deserve to drop any points.

“We didn’t lose, that’s the most important thing, but we should have won the game.

“It was definitely a penalty. There was only one person who didn’t think it was โ€” that was the referee.”
