Danny Graham insists that there is no pressure on the Swans against Chelsea despite expectations having gone up a notch
The Swans return to league action tonight after the disappointment of the weekend FA Cup exit when Chelsea arrive at a sell out Liberty Stadium with the Swans defending a home record that has still only seen Man Utd leave the Liberty with maximum points this season.
Graham told the Wester Mail “Things have gone up a level since Arsenal. We want that as players and we can thrive off it.
“We’ve proven people wrong over the course of the season, if people look at Bolton and say it’s a bad result it shows how far we’ve come.
“Beating Chelsea would go a long way to making up for losing to Bolton, we have to focus on the league.
“We want to finish as high as we can now and make the most of our home games.
“There’s no pressure against Chelsea.
“You’re going to have a spell when things don’t go your way, but we all deserve credit for what we’ve done so far.
“We’ll just look to keep record going and get three points off Chelsea, the same as anyone coming to the Liberty.
“No-one can say what the gaffer will do,” said Graham.
“We had changes at Bolton, but if you see the way we operate every day on the training field the gaffer’s got faith in every single one of us.
“He puts his trust in everyone, that’s why he made changes on Saturday.
“He didn’t do it to go out of the cup, he made that clear.
“It was about our performance and we need to put that right in the league.”
