Martin Jol says that the Swans had more belief and strength then their side as the visitors triumphed 3-0 at Craven Cottage
“Our intentions were good but we couldn’t do what we normally do and that gave them more belief and strength and they took the points,” Jol explained.
“Whether they’re playing Manchester United or Chelsea they [Swansea] always have a lot of possession and there are two ways of dealing with that.
“You can either press them or drop off and let them play and then try to break them. On the third goal there were too many of our players in their half and they broke away.
“We’ve got a lot of players, especially at home, that can put in good performances and I felt we didn’t play like a team.
“Today was an opportunity to get a home win and get to 39 points and try to get even more, maybe 50 points, but of course now we have to go to Manchester United and pick ourselves up and do better.”
