Owen Coyle says that his side made the wrong decisions at times as they scraped a draw with the Swans
Speaking in his post-match press Coyle said: “At the end of the day we came into the game targeting three points, but unfortunately we’ve only been able to take one.
“At the start of the game you have to hand it to Sinclair – it was a terrific finish.
“At that point we came back into the game and the players responded well. We scored a great goal.
“I thought then we got a real grip of the game and as time went forward we were doing well, accepting that when Swansea had the ball they were always going to be dangerous.
“I thought we were well-placed at half time to go on and win the game, but we didn’t have much opportunity with the ball and that really was because we didn’t hold onto it effectively.
“When you’re playing a side of Swansea’s quality, when you give them possession they make it very hard.
“In the last 15 minutes we were the team that were pushing on, accepting that you can always get hit on the break. We defended well and created one or two chances late on.
“I thought Chris Eagles’ shot was in and then David (Ngog) had a good opportunity when he tried to cut in on his left foot.
“The application and the effort was there, but maybe at times we didn’t make the right decisions in the final third.
“We had great support. It was another sell-out home crowd and we wanted to send them away with three points. But who’s to say we haven’t picked up a valuable point today?
“We play the first of our two games in hand against Aston Villa on Tuesday and we need to go there to secure the points.”
