Ashley Williams says that winning against Liverpool would be a dream end to the Swans very own dream season
The Swans will look to bow out of their debut Premier League season with a win against the 18 time Champions and a potential top 10 finish to boot.
Hvaing already picked up a point at Anfield earlier in the season, Ash knows that the win is possible but he will also have to keep a pal of his – Craig Bellamy – at bay if they are to complete that win.
“We all saw what Craig did down here last year with Cardiff. Hopefully he doesn’t do that again. He doesn’t really talk about it too much. I remember it though.
“The goal showed his quality and why he has played and is still playing at the top.
“It would be nice to shut him out, but I don’t think shutting him up is going to happen.
“To keep a clean sheet at a place like that was pleasing. The manner of it was really good.
“The Liverpool supporters applauded us off. It’s one of the highest accolades you can get from opposing fans.
“It was an unbelievable feeling.
“The dressing room was bouncing and you would have thought we’d won. In many aspects a draw at Anfield was like a win for us at that point in the season.
“We played well and it showed Swans could go to a big club, get on the ball and impose ourselves.”
“Winning against Liverpool would be a dream ending to a dream season.”
