Kemy Agustien has backed new arrival Jonathan de Guzman to shine on the Swansea stage
Agustien believes the 24-year-old has all the attributes to be a success at the Liberty Stadium.
“I know Jonathan from growing up in Holland,” he said. “We played against each other when we were younger.
“When he was at Feyenoord we played each other in a couple of cup finals, he won one and I won one.
“He’s a good player, a good asset for the club and it’s good we can bring players of his quality in.
“If he can play like I know he can then it’s great for Swansea,” added Agustien.
“I’ve seen what he’s done in previous seasons with Feyenoord and then in Spain with Mallorca and Villarreal and he worked really well.
“This is a new beginning for him and, with the lads we have here, he can show his qualities.”
